The soft crunch of hooves echoed through the tall trees as Philadonna made her way through the forest. Bow in hand, eyes scanning the brush, she was looking for her dinner. A soft rustle, a flash of brown, this gave away the deer. In a flash of speed, she drew her arrow and let it fly, the sharp tip peircing the hide of the doe. Pracning over to her kill, she smiled, lifting it and placing it on her back.
Celeste blinked as she stared down at the woman. She hadn't had much contact with many other species of intelligent creatures and seeing a centaur was a first for her. She stared down innocently, her head tilted at an angle as she watched the strange woman. 'I wonder what she's doing,' she thought as she saw the centaur pull back an arrow. Her own hand went towards her bow, gripping it tightly from habit. She took in a deep breath when she saw the deer hit with the arrow. "Oh...that poor doe..." she said quietly, but she decided to let the problem be.
She leaned forward a bit in order to get a better look at the centaur. Her free purple hair falling over her shoulders. Her eyes widened suddenly when she felt her grip on the branch loosen. "Uh-oh," she muttered before she fell forward. She did a quick flip in the air, causing her to land rather smoothly on her feet. She stood up straight and dusted herself off. She kept a solemn appearance as she gazed at the centaur. She smile suddenly and raised on hand in the air as a wave, "Hey there!" she exclaimed brightly.

** as Philadonna** Philadonna stared darkly at the child before her, delicate pillar pounded the ground in aggitation. Adjusting the doe on her back, she switched her tail, and slipped her bow in its place at her shoulder. While she gazed at the child, her features softened as big violet eyes stared up at her.
"Why child," Philaddonna spoke softly. "What are you doing out here alone?" then taking in her scrawny appearance. "You look like you haven't eaten in days," Philadona did not know what came over her, but a motherly instinct took over as she held out her hand. "Why don't you come with me child, i have more then enough to feed us both." Her eyes were gentle as she looked the elven child over, her tiny hand that clutched a bow, the tattered clothes, the scrawny frame. Her home was not far from here, just over the rise, there she had a fire and the rest of her dinner warming. She never ate with anyone other then herself, but something about the girl made her smile. "What is your name dear?"
Celeste's hands went to her stomach after the comment that she hadn't eaten in days. She didn't respond to it, but it was certainly true. She hadn't been able to find any edible plants in quantity and she hadn't been able to work herself up to kill an animal. She had eaten meat at places before, but she couldn't bring herself to kill the animeal herself. "My name is Celeste," she said once she had finished thinking for the moment. Her smile and happy tone returned to her quickly.
She thought over the centaur's offer for a few minutes , resting her chin in one hand. She walked forward and took the centaur's hand, "Sure," she said, nodding eagerly, "As long as you are sure that you have enough food," she said, some small hint of remembering to be polite returning to her. She tilted her head to the side again, "What's your name ma'am?" she asked suddenly, wishing to know the name of the woman who wa sbeing so kind to her. She wasn't used to being treated so kindly.

Philadonna's motherly instinct took over as she hefted the small child to her back, placing her far from the doa, covering the body with a blanket as to not scare her. "My name is Philadonna, and yes child i have plenty of food." she carried her passenger on her back, and took off toward her home.
Coming over the rise, the large tree came into view that served as her home. She slid to a halt in front of the fire and lifted the child down again to begin preparing thier meal of venison stew.
Celeste blinked a couple of times after she was lifted onto Philadonna's back. She smiled from relief once she was sure that she wouldn't have to see the doe anymore. Her eyes went wide when Philadonna had begun running, but she grew used to it quickly.
She looked around once she had been set down. "Wow, it's really beautiful around here," she said quietly. She walked around for a few moments, still looking around in wonder.

**as philadonna**
"Yes, tis very lovely up here. I don't have many visitors." Philadonna quickly prepared the stew and spooned it into large bowls handing one to Celeste. "Eat up child, you look as if you would break in a breeze." she smiled lightly and sunk to the ground, gathering delicate pillars underneath her.
**Ugh sorry for the last two posts...thier really bad**
Celeste took the bowl as she still gazed around herself absent-mindedly. She turned around and walked back to Philadonna, dropping down beside her. She set her bow and arrows down to her side and looked around still as she began eating her stew.
"So, what do you usually do around the forest and stuff?" she asked between motuhfuls of stew.

"I just try to survive." she spoke softly, finishing off her bowl and moving to her second helpings. "And what of yourself, these woods can be a dangerous place, especially for a child."
Celeste giggled quietly and looked down at herself, "Well, I suppose that's true, but I honestly don't know my real age." She bit down on her lip as she thought it over, "I'm supposed to be fourteen or so, according to some people that I've encountered though."
She smiled and d her eyes, "But I do all right for myself. My archery's pretty good if I do say so myself." She paused and her gaze shifted to the ground, "I just can't kill my own food."
